Friday the 21st, my car was stolen while I was on pizza delivery...I had never seen my car go so fast as when he peeled off and left me hanging. Seems that our cars are somewhat sought after due to the fact that it was stripped when found 2 days later...NOT BY THE POLICE BY THE WAY!!!!!!!...it was found by one of my delivery drivers 2 blocks from where it was stolen...they also put over 250 miles on my car in less than 6 hours. (the peoples house it was parked in front of said it was there since early saturday morning)

Why would they strip an Aveo, shucksm parts are cheap and abundent in the junk yards already. heck you can pick up a used engine with less than 8,000 miles on it for $600

I wish my was stolen. I would get it paid off, and I'd go get what i want, like a cooper S, or a Jetta GLI.

and this is exactly why I always turned my car off and took the keys when I was I did deliveries. It sucks, but is that little bit of gas really worth it? =(
Either way, bad luck, sorry to hear it.

Hey lyncher, Im not a hater of the car I just dont want it. Theres no aftermarket for it and theres no used value. so there is a big difference on not wanting and hating. if i hated, do you think I'd be on the proboard every day putting in my 2 cents. I am obsessed with cars I like'em all except for ford and honda, I like'em lifted, lowerd, bagged, boosted, chopped, it dont matter. I respect anyone who can make there car indiviual from all the rest on the road..

I agree one hundred percent with you aveolike. I test drove a 05 cooper S fully decked out with the supercharged option. The car is awesome in every department. Being able to accesorize is very important too, and like you said there isn't alot for this car, yet anyway. I just want a little more power with the same fuel mileage, perferably better and somthing that will allow you to totally unique to your tastes, like most other vehicles. It doesn't matter wether it was for gas mileage or not it should have some really desirable accesories at least offered by the manufacturer. Look at the Smart car, look at what they have for that. The swift/aveo is a great car too, especially for the price. Anyway point being, I would like to have the replacement money to put toward a Cooper S or an Integra type R or the new Civic Si.

Ya it also sucks when the car has an issue and the dealer cant fix it. That makes me regret buying the car even more. I still like the car but if i were to buy one today i would of bought something else.

no, the rsx replaced the integra. its an older model, and its a highly desired car around here for rice burners. I like the new RSX type R, its not bad priced either.

Aye what they did with the integra/rsx is the same thing they did with the crx/del sol. They change the name here, but it's still the same in japan (rsx is still called the integra there).
Not sure if this is the case with the newest models, but I've always found hondas to be lacking in the low speed range. With their true fun coming out at around 80mph in long sweeping corners... Not my style at all.

isnt rsx type-s the one with the k20a engine? Not sure. I know they use it in the DC5 Integra type-r's, Civic 2.0l i-VTEC, and the honda stream (2000 model yr).
