I've been working on cars for years, so it's a standard install, nothing special. I haven't had my alignment done yet . Waiting on new tires 1st

I have the GM write up on how to do it, but some steps can be skipped, basicly just take off the two spindle bolts and undo all the lines, then unbolt the top nut and it flopps out, its pretty simple 20 min job to remove the struts. Rear springs take only 20 min for complete replacement. put it on jack stands on the body then jack up the torsion beam a lil bit, undo the bottom bolts from the shocks then SLOWLY let the jack down till springs flop out, switch out the rubber grommets and repeat the steps backwards. I had a friend at a dealer install the springs on the struts because i dont have a compressor. real simmple job.
As far as camber adjustments go! It does seem to need adjustment, there is only 2 things you can do. Elongate the top hole on the spindle and use star washers or use on of those silly camber bolts. Either way you go it might and could slip causeing it to come out of adjustment. I think it would be better(not easyir) to elongate the holes. The rest is just a simple alignment you can have done anywhere, and they can tell you where you camber sits as well.

I payed $120 to get mine installed. Sometimes its to time consuming to put them on yourself when you can get it professionally done for cheap.

I'm still curious to see if the OEM struts and shocks are going to hold up with the springs...
I know with VWs, if you install lowering springs with the OEM struts, they don't have enough movement and eventually die.

Ive had the car lowered with Apex since the end of spring and i havent encounted any problems with the shocks/struts and they dont show any signs of wearing out yet

I gotta agree with nemasys i also got the Apex springs installed and no problems yet. They make a noise but thats rare and that when i go off bumps but besides that its all good.
