That intercooler is custom, not from a Starion... a Starion/Conquest IC is taller and has the charge tubes on the top which face down similar to an Evo. For fuel and timing, I suspect your stock fuel pump will be fine. You won't know unless you boost and get a fuel pressure guage. If it goes down while under boost, then you need a more powerful pump. Injectors, you won't know until you start boosting and see how much you can boost before they hit 95%. Here is a link to the e-manage install for my subaru. The injectors are 370cc whereas stock is 220cc. To compensate, I told the ECU it's getting LESS air and modified my fuel curve by trimming the injectors directly. The emanage is able to add fuel directly to the injectors after the ecu by increasing the pulse width. It's an amazing tool. The safc whenever you add fuel, it also adds timing which is BAD with boost. Detonation will soon follow. In fact, timing wise I pull as much as 15 degrees at 17psi with my subaru. The engine has 9:1 compression. www.vincentfurniture.com/subachad/subachad/mods/emanage.htmChad

alright heres my question...for fuel modifications....would i be able to use upgraded fuel rail and injectors for a honda 1.6L? i know i can use u20sed injectors but if i can use honda one my dad would be able to find them easier and for cheap plus they would look really clean in the engine bay

alright here is the list of turbo's my dad's friend has for me:
Mistu: TD04H TD05 (16G)
IHI: VF-39
Precision: SC50 SC32
Garrett: GT28
I am leaning towards one of the mitsu because they already have a waste gate and are a good size for what I want....what do you guys think

VF39 = STI stock turbo. Should spool up ok on your aveo and is good for over 300hp.... might be a little 'large' for you application actually.
GT28 might work out ok, also probably uses more standard flanges. The vf39 has a wierd inlet flange.

yea im looking for something small with a quick spool
im probably going to go with the garrett GT28 because i think it will be easier to find a d16/15 turbo header with the right flange. i was looking at the mitsu's because they are internally wastegated and would be one less thing to buy but now that i am searching for a header i realize most come with the external wastegate flange and i can get one with the right flange for the gt28

yea im not really that interested in turboing the little 1.6L anymore knowing that i could possibly get another aveo to work with which would get the bigger 2.0L and be making 145 hp with only around 500-700 dollars in it and there will still be room for a turbo....and if i cant get the extra aveo to work with I dont even think Ill still be interested in turboing the 1.6L and wasting a grand when I know what i could have for less....so ill just keep trying to work my dad over on the second aveo deal (but he keeps telling me to rebuild the datsun and put a 350 small block in it since the car is alread built and just needs the engine to be cleaned and put in but that car seems it would be straight line fast and not nimble and agile like the aveo)
