;D going to be turboing the aveo this summer...i didnt even bring up the idea, my dad did. then I started to talk to him about the 2.0L engine swaps possible and he said he wants to do the turbo for now since its under warranty. So you win some battles, you lose some battles, all I know is that I will have some more hp to push the go-kart around. But I do need some info on turning the civic header into a header that will fit the aveo so I can attach the turbo...if any one knows what I have to modify and exactly which type and year shoot me a pm. So far the only part we have for the project is a air to air intercooler. Its the perfect size little that runs the length of the front air shucks. turbo type: TBA because a friend of ours has a few extra turbos from his 4banger accord laying around. All the plumbing will be done by my dad. That's about all the information I have now so I will try to post a picture of the intercooler tomorrow

will do.....its not going to be an overnight think tho, but i think an intercooler is a start....i really wanted the engine swap but I guess that will have to wait for that but I am going to ask my dad to ask the junkyards that they use at his work to keep an eye out for a forenza engine with d20.....till then a turbo will hold me over...plus I better be getting this turbo for dirt cheap considering the person with the turbo 4cyclinder accord was over our house everyday using all our tools while he was building his engine lol

D16/D15 will work but it takes a ton of work to get it to bolt up. The ports are completely different (Honda round/Aveo square) but it should work. I went with a TE04H which spools quick but needs a funky flange. A 1st gen DSM 12b would be the best for ours. T25 might be too big.

the hardware isn't the problem. Engine management is. You can use a piggyback like a SAFC II (Like I have) but when you add fuel the ECU is going to up the timing. Not good. I'm still trying to find a way to do an Emanage or Megasquirt but neither will work as of now. Plus you can't buy larger injectors yet. This car sucks.

I take that back. Love the car, hate Chevy for no backbone in advertising them. More advertising=more sales=more aftermarket. The Yaris and Fit are going to walk all over us.

I'm not going under 8psi either way. I'm shooting for 15+ after I find pistons and a managment control
