i did my first oil change and instaled the cone filter that i got from canadian tire for 35$. i drove the car to school and a friend of mine was asking me to race his intrepied for some time now (its realy nice with a 3.2L in it, and he payed only 3 000$ for it), but i always said no caz i know that im gona get "killed", well today i roll up to the parking lot and he is there with bunch of friends, so when i roll up to the stop, i rev to like 5200rpms, came out, they all looked at me and he said "hey dude how much money did you put in to that beast" all i said is "more then you did" and went to class. All my friends wore talking about my aveo and the 3 gz worth of engine mods, but what they don't know won't hirt them

No offense but you got some dumb friends to believe that. A filter is a distinct noise, nothing like turbo, or supercharger or anything. You better watch out too, 5200 rpm's, you might blow your little engine out

I've bounced mine off the rev limiter alot. it's there to protect it so you don't blow it

If I don't hit 5000 rpm's I must be stuck in traffic.
