I am just wondering. I am into that sort of thing and I looked at this forum for the first time in a while. I haven't seen anyone ask a question about audio or post about something they've done with their car. If you have some post your setup.
My blazer is setup like this: 4- kickers 6.5s (1 in each door) 1-620 watt amp running all the door speakers headunit is a cheap pioneer for now i have 2 12" dvc jbls and if i even feel like running them i will get a 1000 watt 1 ohm stable mono amp.

Thats a nice ground wire...lol. Those Alpine radios came a long way, they used to be junk 10 years ago.
Im running an older model Clarion, motorized, color changing, MP3 and much more that I'll never use. No speakers yet but want 2 JL-12-W3vr's

sweet deal finally got some stuff going on this part of the forum. i have been thinking about mine and this is what i am gonna do when i get ambitious enough. i am going to get kicker components for up front and put my kicker coaxials in the back doors. Then for just some clean bass probably an amplified 8" bazooka tube. if i ever get it done i will post pics of how my wiring runs and what the setup looks like. Mostly because i like to keep my wiring neat.

Alright i just got some stuff done. I stole the 10" sub out of my other truck and put it in my bravada. I used a amp that I had laying around. so heres my setup now
Front door speakers: Kicker 2 way 6.5 coaxials (65 watts rms) Rear door speakers: Polk 6.5 2 way coaxials (60 watts rms) Dash: 4x6 sonys sub: 10" pioneer(for now) running at 120 watts rms in a sealed q logic truck box. speaker amp: 620 watt power acoustik 4 channel sub amp: 300 watt power acoustik 2 channel(bridged will do 170 rms)
I gotta clean some stuff up and maybe get the new sub before i take pictures

For speakers, I wanna get either the new JL Audio line: components front and rear, or go with MB Quart's components in front and coaxials in the rear. But im too cheap to spend that much on them, I'd rather get my ground effects re-done.

I am planning on purchasing a Pioneer CD/MP3 Player (the model below the one with the organic EL, and maybe even then...the one with the organic EL with Red lights) for my car. I just recently installed an Audiobahn Subwoofer in the car, and it sounds great, however, once I get an aftermarket Pioneer Head Unit, the RCA patch cables will be used at that point and the sub will work much much better.

I changed all my 6 speakers to clarions and have them running off the stock deck. Then i got a 10 inch alpine running off the amp.
