Just purchased the car and wanting to do the usual intake and exhaust modifications but not finding listings for Cold Air Intakes (CAI) or cat back systems. See lots of products for 2008 or older but not for the newer Gen2 cars. Anyone have suggestions what works and best combination? Is there a technical reason why there aren't any CAIs available? Was thinking of buying a universal CAI from ChromeIntakes and having the local speed shop delete the resonator and put on a SS Magnaflow muffler with a straight exhaust back. Saw this in a You Tube video and looks to be a very clean installation and has a nice but not disturbing sound. Suggestions wanted.

Don't go with the oval Magnaflow as it will vibrate on the undercarriage. Use the stainless steel 2.5" round (18-22"). Will provide part number shortly. It will replace the resonator and run straight 2.5" pipe back to rear with a downturn to look stock. This in combination with a K&N is the ticket. The stock airbox is short and taking in cold air from the fender such that a after market cold air intake is just a waste of money. The stock rubber intake actually results in 2 hp gain over an aluminum CAI. The car will run a bit ragged the first few miles until the computer catches up, but performance and throttle response are significantly improved. The Magnaflow will sound a bit raspy for the first few hundred miles, but then the tone will deepen and mellow. Can't complain getting 33 mpg at 70 mph.
