Does anyone know if its gonna be easy to take the carpet and headliner out to put in sound proofing (like Dynamat), and put the carpet and headliner back in?
I understand its gonna probably be verry time consuming, but i want a more quiet ride.
Any tips on how to do this would be great.
I'm thinking I'm gonna have to take out the seats and the center console to get the carpet, and some (if not all) the pillars to get the headliner out. Am I correct? Another thing... is the carpet and headliner glued in? So I'd have to glue them back in when i want to put them back in?

Not sure about the glued in carpet, but you are on the right track for the headliner, take all of the plastic off the pillars, pull the push pins (be careful, they like to break), and the headliner will just fall out.

hey the carpet was easssy to remove. my car is currently.. empty as per say.! 1. just need to take out front seats 4 bolts each 2. centr dash hand brk n gear leavr area. 1 scre in rear cup holder. 2 at front 1 driver side and 1 pasngr side footbweels. then pull off tht part of the dash gently, i had 2 remove hand brk as well as it wouldnt come up. im not sure with manul as i done with an auto so didnt hav 2 worry about gaitor. and u need 2 remove hnd brk gator as well. 3.rear seat has 2 bolts just below the seat facing the front seats. easily visabl. undo them... 4. to make it easier i removed the lower panels as well all the way around. 5. carpet near rear seats needs a good tug, and the rest jus lifts up. front area is cut in half so passenger and driver footwells are seprerate, but stil connected to the rest of the carpet if that makes sens. so they wil be a bit flapy, but rejoin near hand break and gear area. good luck

(hatchback) then you just fiddle around till it comes off presto roof off i took mine off like 2 days ago.. covered it in white leatherette looks sweeeeeeeeeeett!
