Almost lost my car Saturday night... It was really hot and I decided to park under this large oak tree at the front of my work. When I was about to leave that night I noticed the front of my car was covered in leaves... no a huge oak branch... I walked up to inspect the damage. No broken glass, good. No warps in the hood, good. So I started the car up and sloooooooowly backed out. The branch didn't move so it wasn't resting against the car. I got out and looked the car over, A OK, not a scratch. What kind of luck is that? ? Seriously, when I first saw the branch on my car I was sure I'd be calling my wife to pick me up. The tree was dead and a wind storm on Saturday caused nearly half of the tree to break appart and crash to the ground. My car was the only one parked near it.

Never park under trees. Especially when its windy and rainy. Or one of those ones that leak sap or have birds in them
