I’m back everybody, some of you might have knowtised that I stopped posting (my stupid questions, and arguing with Aveosam) that is because I had to move in to a new apartment.
the new apartment is actually about 1 km away from my old one, and the rest of my family got another apartment on the same floor, so it was a huge move. As some of you already know, I’m Russian and the sense of family is very strong, and I’m not even going in to my Italian background. Anyway in my family, the head is my grandmother and when she wants some thing done, it has to be done, just like the mafia. So my family desaided to use my aveo to move every thing.
My aveo was loaded up with thing that should never have been put in to it : 3 couches, 5 beds, 2 aircondishiners (i thought the suspension was going to die under the weight), a huge fridge, 7 matrices, 4 tables, 2 computer desks, 4 TVs, 2 computers, 20 boxes of close, and 5 boxes of kitchen staff. Oh, I almost forgot, I installed a roof rack on the car, which is so easy to install, it literally takes 1 minute to install, and take off. Most of the time the hatch would not close, and I was afraid that it will be ripped of by the wind ( the list 2 day of the move, we had a lot of snow and wind was about 70-80 km/h)
I live in the north downtown of Hamilton (steel city) and to get to the new apartment, I had to drive on this industrial road that looks like it was taken from Baghdad after the bombing, even amply aveo is straggling on that road, but with over 700 pounds of stuff in it, it was taken beating of its life.
When we wore unloading the car, we had people constantly coming up to us and asking how we managed to fit all that staff in to such a small car, hell I couldn’t believe it my self. at like 12 at night I was dead tired and was not thinking straight, when this guy came up to me and out of no where told me that I was retarded to abuse a brand new car like that, and I just snap and told him every thing I thought about him, in other words I made an enemy before I even moved in, when I see the guy im gona apologize.
On the last trip the car gave up. The old apartment was amply and the car was loaded to the extreme, im taking about a computer desk, 2 TVs, 4 pillows (in the back) and 3 beds on the roof, it was -17 out side and I had left the emergency blinkers on for the whole day now, and then the car refused to start (the battery was dead) and my jumper cables wore in the trunk, under the spare tire, so I had no way of getting to them. thank god for the 5 year road side assistance from Suzuki, you gota love the things that come with new cars. So after 40 minutes of waiting, the tow truck showed up and started my little car. It took so much abuse for this past 2 weeks, and it gave up at the end.
Finally the hell is over, the weather is better, I have my own apartment and my car is somewhat ok, (3 really knowticible scratches on the interior, and the chip im the rear bumper). Going to fix it soon.
If I waited you tome making you read this, I’m sorry.
