Well I've been called out in Cincinnati. A late model d series civic has challenged me. I don't know much about honduhs. But I think I'll lose. But you never know! Yes It will be at the track

You won't lose stock vs stock but most likely if he is modded and you are stock you will def. lose but not too badly. My .02

well if a car jumps out at me on the highway late at night we have problems, because highways don't have intersections. the highway is designed for faster traffic. I'm not racing on the back streets. Plus I make sure its all clear, and not endargering other people

D16Z Honda engined Civics are plentiful here. Very blessed engines. But they always get stopped by cops because of their ease in accepting mods. FYI, where I stay, the rules and regulations are tough. You cannot just simply slap a turbo into a car. If found out, it gets impounded! Even if the turbo kit is made for the car, you got to get "permission" from authorities.
Yeah...It sucks.

what Nazi state do you live in. In Ohio all you have to do it pass the OBD @ test, as long as you don't have and engine codes stored in the ecu your clear

Well, Singapore will always appear to be Nazi state if you happen to be American. Remember, we spanked an American teen way back in the early 90s. Search Google for "Micheal Fay". Hope it doesn't bring back nightmares. BTW, chewing gum is banned except for medical purposes like nicotine gum or dental gum. Yes, it sucks. PM me if you want to know more of this "Nanny state" when it comes to motoring matters.

Even if that is a stock '91 Civic you will be racing you are cooked, an '88 1.5 with a cai and 310,000 Km will spank a Aveo prociding its a 5 speed and the driver knows how to drive the civic. Sorry to say that but its true.

Dude did you check out the date of the post. This was last year. THe Civic did beat me. I was 2 car lenths ahead from 40 to 80. But the civic was able to stretch out the rpm's farther than the Aveo. From 80 to 100 he creeped up. He only beat me by a car and a half.

my buddy has a 95 civic dx v-tech 1.5L that is stock and I ran ahead of him until about 70 mph then he got beside me and we ran even till about 113 then we both let off the gas......oh by the way, as far as deceleration....the aveo slows down faster when you let off the gas than the civic. lol
