W.O.W....I had no idea enough people like this car to have actual forums. The one i have is the only one I’ve ever actually seen, and boy oh boy, it sucks. Don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t suck on its own but my brother really did a number on it and has no mechanical inclinations whatsoever. So he taught the little guy how to suck and then while I was pulled off in the emergency lane a couple weeks ago, we( the aveo and myself) got side swiped by a semi. If I hadn’t pulled off as far as i do, I’d not be here right now and there’d be one less aveo in the world. Anyway, the guy in the semi(auto zone semi, ironically enough) did stop and call the police and told the deputy that he(semi driver) did cross the white line and swiped the entire length of my vehicle. It’s sheared off both front and back door handles and my driver’s side mirror. Ive got a mirror to put on it but the left side speakers don’t work anymore either. When i googled how to find front speakers, i came across this forum. I tried to find the thread on Tapatalk with no luck, so here i am. Can someone either tell me how to find them and access them, please? I am used to having a haynes manual to do my auto repairs but I’ve not been able to get one for this car yet. Oh, the insurance company totaled it for all the cosmetic damage. It drives fine. It is in my mother’s name as is the insurance. So, nothing at all was fixed on it and its up to me to do so if i want to be comfortable and safe. I’m working on the busted mirror since that the most dangerous part of it, but while I’m messing with the door, I’d like to go on and replace the speaker. I found only one screw right under the inside handle. Removing that did next to nothing, of course. So if someone could please tell me how to get that freakin door off, I’d be very grateful.
Thank Yas, FeyFay:)
