Since day one of installing my system Ive been having some interference issues. I get some mild alternator whine, cracks and pops when I turn my unit on and off. Pulsing when hazards are on, and just straight up interference noise. I checked and moved my grounds around, swapped interconnects, power wire is run opposite side of interconnects. I used all decent components i.e, stinger 12g speaker wire, 4g phoenix gold power and ground, stinger Helix interconnects, and all infinity equipment. Any suggestions, or has anyone else experienced this? BTW I just replaced both amps, but even before it did this as well with my old ones.

try taking the ground wire from the head unit and running it to a better spot if you can. The factory grounds for stereos suck in cars. If its engine noise(changes with rpms) then it is usually a bad ground or you need better shielded interconnects.

and where is your amp grounded to? seat belt bolt and the body are not good grounds, make it grounded to the frame. Drill a 1/4" hole in you floor any where. Then put the ground from your amp on a 1/4" bolt into that hole. Then take another wire from under the floor(underneath the car) to the frame. That would be a good way to ground it.

Ok found and fixed some things. Fixed the insanely annoying hum I was getting by finding and replacing one of my Interconnect wires(faulty). What are the chances! Second I re-routed my interconnects to be as far away from any other wires. Grounded my foglight relay to the battery. Im still getting some mild pops when I turn off the headunit and foglights. I think the foglight pop is coming from the relay itself, so Ill most likely buy a better relay to see if that fixes the problem. As for the power off pop from the headunit, this may be due to the fact that my player is considered a "high power" unit and should be directly wired to the battery or constant on iginition wire, not hooked up to the factory wiring harness(which i did).
