Just an observation really, why isn't there a how to on installing a CAI/SRI?
Is it really that easy to do?
I've read various threads about it and it seems like the O2 sensor is a pain in the butt and that some CAI/SRIs don't fit right.
I'm spending $450 on getting my custom exhaust put on so I don't think that I'll have the money anytime soon to put on a CAI/SRI. I read somewhere that its a good idea to start at the back of the car first rather than the front.
Or if anyone can direct me to a 'how to install' link on another site that'd be awesome.

i thought we had some how tos on it, but it really is simple, SRI is the simplest
for the easiest one just follow this #1 remove stock air box #2 connect filter to piping #3 connect piping to rubber inlet
Of course it can get more complicated using things like metal inlets or going full CAI

Yeah I saw your G.O.A.T. intake.
I was talking more about the typical CAI(i.e. Sam's) or a SRI (i.e. Gravana).

well my goat is one way, but 90% of the steps are the same for a CAI

That included a Dynomax turbo muffler and a 24" resonator plus tubing. If I wanted to go with Magnaflow it would be $100approx more. I'm thinking people either think I'm naive or that I haven't found the right Muffler place. It also doesn't help that I live in Alberta Canada an oil producing province that has a surplus and not a debt. They gave every person who lives here a $400 dollar cheque. Then there is the fact that everybody is gouging here.

i still think its a lot for something that doesnt even give you reasonable gains, i just went with a straight pipe from the cat to my muffler, no resonators and whatnot.
