Has anyone noticed that the Canadian hatch spoilers "hug" the rear hatch, whereas the US spoilers sit up and look like a baby buggy handle?

Funny...I'd rather have the raised on pedestals look for my car...
I got a hugging spoiler for trade in red.

I dig the US's "raised" spoiler. Well, only in certian colors. It doesn't look too good in the flashier colors like red and yellow IMO.

Do the two different spoilers attach differently? Or are they essentially the same the way they attach.
Why two different spoilers? Looks?

the spoilers attach in the same area and it was done just for an edgier look no purpose at all

I like the hugged one, it's good that I have it and not the raised one. On my old 89 Civic which had a little hatch spoiler that had a gap, I found that it forced a lot of dirt down onto the hatch window especially in the rain or when it the salty dirty snow was melting. Mind you I didn't have a rear washer on that car, but I've found with my Swift that the hatch window doesn't get that dirty and I rarely have to use the rear washer.

that just keeps my back windshiedl wiper going, unless there is no fluid in the rear washer, is there a seperate resevoir for the rear washer fluid?

You just push the lever foreward and hold it there to get the fluid flowing there. I find it can take a few seconds depending on how often i use it.
