I've been driving my Aveo for a while now but I noticed early that it seems (or at least feels like and this my sound funny but...) mph gauge says that I'm going faster than I really am. So is it just me or what? . I also wanted to know how much more power can you get out of the car with an automatic if you drive it like a manual? I used to drive a Dodge Daytona so going down to a smaller car etc. is taking some getting used to (but couldn't beat the price). So are there performance parts out there for my Aveo or am I just going to have to be patient and wait? I know some are ordering parts from the Kalos etc. for their Aveo but for me it gets a little confusing . Better yet, (praying) when will chevy release a charger kit for this .

Hopefully someone here has an answer . I would hate it to be a problem with the Aveo.

Ive checked multiple times with the radar stations that police set out on public roads. A good majority of vehicles came 2 miles an hour over what they are actually going, so if it says 35, you're typically around 32/33. I owned a 97 Oldsmobile that was that way, a 99 Mercury that was also that way, and im finding much of the same with the Aveo.

I passed by one of those "cop-box" digital speed calculators a week ago... my speedometer told me I was going 35mph... and the cop-box said I was going 32. I think such a slight difference is normal... I just think the shrunken mini-van shape of the Aveo makes the ride feel different from your average car.
