I'm adding after-market power door locks to my '07 Aveo5. Mounting the actuators seems to be pretty straight forward, but I am having trouble running the 5 conductor cable through the factory grommet from the interior to the door.
Does anyone know if there is a hole in the door post where the factory stereo wires are routed, or is there a connector inside the rubber boot? I tried to fish the cable through, but it keeps hitting something and stopping.

Im not sure how close they are but i have a 2009 g3 (same as aveo) and i added the door lock actuators. Running the wire through the door boot was actually pretty easy. The hardest part was getting the actuators mounted so they wouldnt bind up as they moved up and down.
Im not going to take my doors apart now to get pictures but ill try and remember to take some when i replace my speakers. If anyone has questions on the install PM me or email me at spatulahunter@hotmail.com
