Did the futureshop you went to have a car audio install shop in it? They should have it in stock.. It's a Daewoo wiring harness.. I dropped in at the best buy here, and bought one for 14 bucks.. they should also have the mounting kits. What radio is in yours? my aveo came wiht a mounting adapter already, that I just had to modify..

yea i went to the one with the car audio install bay (warden+eglinton in scarborough)
i told the guy, it's a daewoo... he still told me special order. i didn't have time to hang around and bicker, i'll call around... i've also been told that i need an aftermarket antenna adapter.
my factory deck is the single mp3 deck, which takes up the entire slot. afaik, the aftermarket mounting kit includes the little pocket.

ahh.. yes.. you will need the mounting kit then.. mine came wiht the pocket thing adapter...
I can't find the package from the harness right at the moment, but I'm pretty sure it said DAEWOO 1999-2005 or somethign like that.. If they can't get it figured out still, send me a PM.. I'll call the store here and get an item number..
Also, with the newer cars you don't usually need the antenna adapter.. you will know really quick though.. but I didn't need it for this car, but I needed it for my 95 grandam...
and unless you have some kind of aftermarket alarm or something, you don't need any kind of ignition adapter or something, worth 150 bucks..

Update :::: just bought a Scosche wired FM modulator from Radio Shack (TheSource, wtfever) $50. I came to my senses and realized my factory mp3 deck is way too much the sexy.

14 bucks, best buy, easiest radio swap ever, just a harness needed, I replaced teh deck with a pioneer, took about 10 minutes from start to end, simply matched the wire colours and spliced it in, then plugged the harness in
