Has anyone added A/C to a SVM?
I've got an Aveo 04' Hatch SVM. (S.ucky V.alue M.odel)
Would I need to get parts through a GM dealer, or could I pay less by ordering Daewoo parts, or is there any aftermarket kit?

There is a kit available from GM, it runs about $1250 retail, I can get it at cost, around $850 I believe. You might have a problem installing it on anything older than an 06. They started to prep the cars from the factory in the middle of 05. there are certain codes that the car is equipped with- the sticker on the glove box door says it all. call your local Chev dealer parts department w/ the Vin # and they will be able to tell you everything you need to know. When you give them your Vin, they can read everything on the sticker in your glove box & that will tell them if you can install factory a/c or not.
