All pedal covers on sale at Canadian Tire this week for all you north of the border... These were $15. I couldn't believe how far the stock brake and gas pedals are, and how dinky the gas pedal is. I could barely reach my right foot over far enough to roll it on the gas while braking for some "heel-toe" double-clutch action. These pedal covers close the gap nicely and IMO look great too. They fit over the stock pedals. The gas pedal was so small that the lower left clamp doesn't even reach the pedal. Fortunately the other 3 clamps hold the cover securely. I might have to adjust the angle a bit as I get used to it, but I'm pretty dang happy with them.

I was thinking about these exact pedals the other day. I wasnt sure how great they'd be, but if there working well for you I might pick some up tommorow and try 'em out. They look pretty good.

I didn't get them for the look... I got them so I can properly heel-toe double-clutch, cuz the stock pedals are too friggin' small and too wide apart. That's not ricing it up.

I had those pedels before. they are junk, they wear out, and the stickers come off. then they get loose.

Hey, they were cheap and the least flashy looking. I keep an eye on the tightness, although I probably should have used locktite. The finish and the rubber can wear down, I don't much care... like I said I just need them to properly heel-toe.

ok, our stock rubber pedals when in friction with shoes on a rainy day creat alot of noise, so thouse might fix that, but the whole idea that they help ya Properly heel-toe double-clutch, is BS, I asume you heel-toe for downshifting? becouse all you need for upshifting is gas and the clutch, no brake.
if you can do it, you can do it on any car with any pedal covers, but don't get me wrong they do look good, it's your reson for geting that doesn't. if they help you learn, that great, i started out driving bearfoot.

Whatever... I guess the word "properly" isn't the right word... the covers "facilitate" my heel-toe technique. I can "properly" do it on any manual transmission vehicle. I've probably been driving a manual since before you were born... I know what double-clutching and heel-toe technique is for... Have you seen good autocrossers or racers shift and heel-toe? Watch the following vid: videos.streetfire.net/video/c8710573-fd48-4c11-8a2f-80db3f41d4d1.htmThat's the way I heel-toe: by braking with the ball of my foot and twitching my heel over to ride up the accelerator pedal to blip the throttle. It's just not practical with the stock pedals on our cars... it's doable, but not practical, hence why I got the covers. It's that simple.

Maybe it's just my US-11 sized shoes... but I actually have a problem with how close the gas and brake are...
Pain in the ass to get my left foot on the brake.
No problem hitting the brake and gas at the same time with the factory pedals.

yes, i must agree, i put on some pedal covers and with a sz 12, 13, i couldnt hit the gas alone, i was always hitting oth gas and the brake, so i took em off and was at one time looking for smaller covers, but kinda gave up cuz nobody looks at your feet anyways, but yea in a camera shot, they do look better than stock
