Does anyone have any suggestions about how to run the power wire from your battery into the car. I have the manual transmission, no a/c ('06 aveo). I cant find a way through the firewall anywhere. Any suggestions and pictures would be awesome. Thanks.

You can go through the rubber patch underneath the glove box, behind the center console., the rubber patch is just above the carpet line....

I went in where the main wire harness is going to the fuse box. It was tight to get at in the engine bay, its directly under the brake fluid resivor. I fed it from the inside starting under the dash, out to the batt. using a 2 or 4 gauge wire (I think, i forget right now) I pushed it through the rubber next to all the wires.

I ran my amp wire thru the same spot under the brake fluid reservoir. I pushed a coat hanger wire thru from inside the car, bent it to hold the wire, then pulled it back thru.

Thanks for the ideas. I'll be going at it tonight so we'll see how it goes.
Edit : Wow, Im almost embarrased I asked in the first place. It was pretty easy. I ran the power through the rubber grommet in the firewall where I assume the a/c would have been. Up underneath the fire retardant foam stuff along the top near the hood and across to the battery. Sounds great.

i went through the centre console (rubber grommet behind). as soon as i realized it was there, it was the easiest audio install I have ever done

I went through just to the left of where your left foot is. Around the side above the fender liner and into the engine that way. Followed another harness basically.
