First off... This is my first post to the community.
I already have the gauges changed to the red LED's, but when I went to change the HVAC lights... I had a problem.
I bought "T1.5 Instrument LED Bulbs" from superbrightleds.com but when I took the dash apart I think i bought the wrong bulb size. Should have I bought "74 Wedge Base LED Bulb"? I got confused because they both said #74 bulb, which you guys said was the bulb size to get.
So what bulb is it? If i got the wrong bulb, you guys said you can exchange them..... i believe.
I also didn't see how the stock bulb came out... it didnt seem to want to come out.

HVAC = #74 LED bulbs without the holder(scroll to the bottom)
Make sure you get them without the holder. If you email them at superbrightled.com, I am sure they will let you exchange them. As for the stock bulbs... they have the black and red wires (as i remember, did it a long time ago) running to the back of the black holders. You are going to want to use a pair of pliers to twist the delicately...they are very hard to turn with your fingers and will leave them sore for awhile if you do get them undone with your fingers. Are you getting red hvac lights? Because I dont know if it was just my bulbs but the red leds for the hvac's were hard to get in because they were slightly bigger than the blues and other colors. So I just carefully sanded the bottom end of the leds to make them a little skinnier and then I used the pliers to expand the bulb holders slightly(do with caution don't want to break them)

The wires were actually both black.... but anyways.... Theses are the ones I got.... "T1.5 Instrument LED bulb"  Are these the ones I should get? "74 Wedge Base LED bulb"  If that is'nt the right bulb either (which I dont't think it is), could you post a pic of what it looks like.... sorry i feel like a complete idiot right now- it seems too easy and I'm not getting it. |

Are these the ones I should get? "74 Wedge Base LED bulb" Yes those are the leds you should get. And don't worry about asking because I am pretty sure we had like a ten page thread on it about the bulbs and everything. Are you sure they are all black wires? There are four bulbs in the hvac |

Yeah, I read that 11 page thread on it, but I didnt see much on the HVAC lights.
I'm sure the wires are both black... the lights have a green bulb cover over them too. Maybe it has something to do with the 2004 to the 2005... but that's something, I would think, wouldn't change. I dont know it's weird.
But yeah, I'll email them and see if i can exchange them.

Did you have any trouble with loosing the metal clips to the side plastic pieces to get to the screws to the CD player?
I did, and it was a pain trying to find them haha

na not with the clips but with a screw. I lost one because I touched behind the HVAC controls and it was greased that then I went to unscrew one of the goldish color screw and it slipped right out of my fingers and I couldnt find it  |
