Anyone got a tip on on cleaning overspray from underbody black sound proof stuff the dealer does off alloy wheels? I knew they got some on my wheels when I picked up the car, but it is far worse now that I took them off for the winter, than I had first thought it was.

my usual answer to overspray is paint thinner but from personal experience that takes the clear right off the wheel....ive seen people use peanut butter to clean wheels before and they came out effin shiney

hmm.. that is an interesting one.. could give it a whirl.. i'm thinking some polish might do it.. hope I can get it off.. or back to the dealer I go again to complain, and make them do it.. Starting to learn the kinda things you gotta look for when buying a new car from a dealer.. Stuff you 'assume' they took the care to protect against.. oh well..
