I assume you are talking about some synthetic leather style front end car support?
i had one on my last car.. I liked the look on it.. however, you need to be very vigilant on cleaning it.. depending on your area.. I had to basically clean behind it with the hose every few days becuase they hold so much sand etc. and I didn't want it to scratch. I'm sure it saved the front of the car from a lot of stone chips on the highways, but also left some slight wear marks under the hood cover, but I think it was really only noticable to me. Also if you use it ALL the time, your other paint can fade, and the paint under the cover won't, resulting in a tan line.. It was the official GM one that I got. So there are some ups and downs..

Thanks, thats what I'm most afraid of, the "tanline", I'll clean underneath the bra religiously, I'm just too lazy to take it off and put it back on now and again to fight the tan........
How much did the GM one cost you?
LeBra's are about 59 or 69 bucks

I think it was around 100 bucks.. CAD... It was made by another manufacturer.. Not Lebra, I don't remember who though...
Also.. make SURE you don't have it on in the winter.. You will destroy your front end if salt gets trapped in...
What color is your car btw?

Ever looked at the clear 3M film "bras"?? The owner of Sport Compact Only has it on his BMW and though you can't hardly see it, it does great for his car. Stays cleaner I think then the rest of the car...lol

Yellow 04' hatch
Clear film bras - sweet, that sounds like a great idea. I'm looking to get black rims, and I thought a bra and black rims would be too much. I like the clean look.......

I like my girls toppless. Red, you said it all, scratching and fading. And the salt, lets talk about rust. As whiteraven said, go with that option, it wont fade, it wont fade the paint, dirt/salt cant get behind it, and what about if the bra got ripped? Then your Fuked. If you wanna save the paint go clear because the bra wont save it, it only covers the problem.

+1 for Clear bra... besides, are you really worried about your headlights separating and sagging?

I'd rather just use blue painters tape than a bra... they look crummy.
