well if the transmission is the same as our 1.6L, you can swap in the 1.6L but i dont know if that qualifys for more powerful with 105 hp...theres a 2.0L u20sed that will work with the tranny too Do we have confirmed evidence that the 2.0L actually mounts the same, bolts up to the tranny, and wires easily?

mounting in the engine bay...no;bolts and works with the d16/f16 tranny...yes; wires easy....of course not lol wiring is the hardest part of swapping engines

You will have tocut the body wires on the Aveo and wire them yo the 2.0 ecu, shouldn't be hard just time consuming. I will say that it should bolt in will very little mod needed, naybe change a mount or something.

I know all about the SR20DET, my brother builds them, he has a 91 Sentra SER with the GTi Sr20 in it, pushing about 500 HP, Very mean machine, the SRT's can't even hang with him

well a reason i say the f2t or klze is since they're FWD i dont need to make a transmission tunnel

Because you would have to change EVERYTHING!!!... And most people would wanna stick with what they already have or the least of changes possible... so we would have to stay with Daewoo/Opel engines and stuff... I'm not taking my modding that far though.. not for now anyways...
