Wife and I both have 05 Aveo hatches.
I'm looking to get an additional set of rims for her so I can swap out for winter.
Since the wife puts less than 10, 000km on her car a year, I was looking for a set of inexpensive aftermarket 14" rims to put her stock rubber on; and put new snows on the stock rims. (FYI -Around here, another set of steel wheels are around $50 each )
Anyone have any recommendation for rims or dealers?
I live in Oshawa, just east or Toronto; but don't mind a little drive to pick some up

i bought some 99 miata rims for $300 that'll work, all you need to do is bore out the center hub to 56mm (stock is 49mm) and get a 1/8 inch wheel spacer

I've had a place quote 99 a wheel and no machining \spacers necessary.
Just not a fan of the look of the wheels, so thats why I'm still looking.

there are a few diffrent wheels you could go with, miata wheels"if you dont like the miata wheels, you might be able to find the BBS miata wheels which came on the M edition" those look awsome, also a great 14" wheel for the aveo is honda civic hx stock wheels. also check rims for scion, or a toyta ae86. any wheel that is 4x100 should fit. i also heard that old celicas came with a 14x7 which i am trying to find, but have had no luck. hope this helps

need to clear up the confusion... I'm not looking for a set of old OEM wheels from another manufacturer (ie Honda )that will fit ; but instead looking for an aftermarket wheel that is 14" and 4 X100
So far I have found the following wheels that appear to be a match
Konig Rewind Incident
Rial Campo Giro Flair
Sacchi S2
Motegi MR7 RT5
X-wheels X47
MB Tuscon
I would like to know if anyone has any experience with these wheels, and especially if anyone can recommend a tire\wheel shop in Ontario

I had a set of BMW E30 14's on my Civic, they are known as bottlecaps and are nothing fancy, but lighter than steelies and can be had for dirt cheap. I got a set of 4 for $80 and they all balanced perfectly.
I don't know much about Aveo Hub sizes or anything, but the bolt pattern is the same and should work for you.
