Just keep spamming KYB with emails and maybe they'll hurry up and make the front struts avalible. I can't wait... now to convince my wife to let me buy a set.

So they are not making anything now? When did you get that reply Brian?

brian asked about performance struts which they implied as the AGX adjustable. They are however making rear stock replacement shocks. The front struts according to my email are coming, but I seriously doubt they will make a performance shock/strut combo for the Aveo.

Alright, keep us updated when the rears(tirerack) and fronts become available to order.

So just for clarification...the shocks that are available will work fine with lowering springs?? cause that would be awesome....
Also KYB is working on stock replacements for the front still, right??

Cliffnotes:
KYB rears are avalible now.
KYB is still working on a release date for the fronts.
KYB shocks and struts, though a direct stock replacement, are an upgrade. They are gas shocks and struts made of better materials and are just better quality than stock all around (in most cases). They are stiffer and more aggressive. Even the low end KYBs are more than strong enough to handle lowering.
Ex: I had GR2s on my 240sx. They were about 15-20% stiffer than stock. They lasted twice as long as my stock struts, too.

So, I talked with tim from kyb (very nice guy by the way) and he said as of 8/2/06, the rears had not been assigned a part number yet so he would not be expecting availability for about another 4-6 months.... he also said they are not at all closed to the idea of making shocks/struts with dampness adjustments (the ones with the little knobs on the top to make them hard or soft) so, what I'm thinking is that we need to let them know how many people would be into buying a set of those to get the ball rolling.... I am up for it, Who's with me?

How about this... I'll use the network I got at work and see how much I can get a set for...Then I'll post a group buy for them on here.
So far my distributors are not carrying them in stock because no one orders them. :-\ So if we order a whole orange juiceload at once, maybe they'll notice.
Lemme make some calls.

If i am to change the shocks id rather change all 4 at once then 2 at a time, if only they'd make the struts available too

Have been checking and can't locate the rear shocks anywhere, even Tire Rack.
Plus, if anything, I need the front struts much more urgently. None of the chain outlets like Monro, Meinecke, Sears, Firestone, etc. have anything for the Aveo.
