what is the widest tire that can fit with the stock steelies? They come with 185's... is it possible to go wider?

I was running 205/60-14's on my stock 14" mags.

it kind of looks like you have more profile on the sidewall though
what was your opinion on getting that size?

that looks nice, what width rim are the 205/60-14's ment for, 7.5? i believe 205/60/14s will fit our stock width up to 7.5 but i think they are ideally used on 7 wide rims

Oh yeah the tire's sidewall comes out more it looks like the rim is recessed. They are way better then the stock tires and I have taken hard turns with these and they stay in place. You might experience more body roll then the stock tires but mine was pretty good since the car was lowered when I had them.

so now people can stop using the xcuse of buying biger rims to run wider tires, but still if you want to put on biger brake, biger rims are still needed.

so now people can stop using the xcuse of buying biger rims to run wider tires, but still if you want to put on biger brake, biger rims are still needed. you still need bigger rims if you want 215's lol people buy bigger rims because the stock ones look like crap plus you can get bigger rims that are lighter than stock so you can fit the 215's and bigger brakes

oh, your right sam about the weight thing, but you can still get 14's that look good and weigh 6.5lb (Volk CE28N Forged ) is there a down side to using 205 tires on 5.5 rim? why MORE more body roll?
