you can get 205/40/17...anything thicker than that on the aveo will screw up the speedometer alot and ull be driving a monster truck...also if you plan on lowering the car, any sizes bigger than what i listed will def rub on every turn....so with that said, when i look at my 205/40/17's they do look really thin, so pretty much you want to go with 16's

anyone know what the standard offset for the stock 15's are?
the 17x7s we just fitted have a +40 offset and sit very close to the guards

IMO i think the wheel size and choice will largely depend on the road conditions in your country FYI im from the Philippines and since our roads have Potholes as big as moon craters i opted for a 15" w/ a width of 8" wrapped around 195/55 tires inflated to 28 PSI..heck it looks good, handles and rides well, you have no worries in case you fall into a pothole and its also faster than those with 17" coz of the smaller diameter..

well i'm looking for some light weight 15's with 185 x 55 tires..
i drive about 96% freeway and would like for my acceleration and mpg to not suffer and have some decent looking wheels at the same time...
considering some Falken Hanbis or Rota slips with some LRR tires..
