Home Depot/Lowes/Orchard Supply Hardware... whatever home improvement store you have locally. The bar was about $15 (Aluminum is a little more money) and the flat stock end pieces are about $5. You need a hacksaw, cut off wheel, or sawzall to cut the peices and a grinding wheel of some sort to get rid of the sharp edges. A couple of holes and 3/8" bolts (that size fits both 9/16" and 14mm wrench)
Try it out, you will be impressed with the difference. So far I have this and the front polyurethane sway bar bushings. Thats it for suspension mods. Next are lowering springs then a rear torsion/sway bar. I wonder if the rear stock Lanos bar will fit? (look inside the bar that connects the two wheels, it has to twist for your rear suspension to work. The lanos has a bar inside that helps keep it from twisting.)

Wow, good work! Does it make a pretty big difference in cornering? (I'm sick of the terrible lean and body roll!)
I was also looking through your site and saw that you've made custom motor mounts with RTV. Seems like a good/cheap mod and I was just wondering how well they're holding up before I trying it myself.

There is no difference in body roll/lean. The sway bar bushings did help with that a little though. Cornering is SOOO nuetral, the whole car works now. There's no better way to get full use out of the stock cheapy tires than a good neutral handling suspension. I have done a lot of work to my Subaru and it's still not that neutral. The RTV holds up fine. I only have the passenger side done right now, the driver side will be done eventually. I have been spending a lot of time getting my Subaru track worthy lately. Tomarrow though I'm going to pick and pull, hopefully I'll find a Lanos and pull the cams. I'll let you guys know if they work. Cross your fingers. (The Lanos cams have a higher lift) Chad www.uniquemotorsports.com/aveo
