how do you take the sensor off the orginal intake system i dont want to bust it and it appears to be on there really good i know how to take the clip peice off no problem but i dont want to bust the sensor

Take the metal clip off (be careful, it will FLY). Unhook the connector. The actual IAT sensor itself is super glued in. Use a razor or something to cut it out.

As hard as that thing was to get off, a million times harder to get back on once it didn't fit into the POS Secret Weapon intake that I ordered. AVOID WEAPON-R AT ALL COSTS!!!

i order a intake off ebay and it is a pos but i got it on the car picks up alot better but ill put on my 200 buck one on when it come till then this is a tempary one

LOL... I know this is like 4 years ago that this thread has been updated, but I just used the stock tubing, 2.5 inch to 3 inch adapter, and a 3 inch universal K&N cone. I thought about going with a large pipe, but then figured that no matter how large the pipe is, the manifold inlet is still going to be 2 inches!!! And the K&N cone with the stock pipe makes enough difference for me! It seems to be a bit more responsive...
