Well I got my exhaust manifold back from porting today. It was ported and polished for $50 (usd)
At first it didn't look like much could be taken out but when I got it back the guy said there is a lot in the middle you can't see that got taken out. I could even feel the weight difference. I've used this guy before to port my turbo exhaust manifold when I had my turbo probe.
I hope to get the manifold put on in the next few days and I will have a full report on how the car feels (performance wise)! I don't expect a large difference, but every bit helps, right?

well i felt the weight difference before he even said anything. This guy has been recommended to me before by many people and i've used him before, so i've got pretty good trust in him right now

I picked up a 400rpm sooner spool up on my Impreza turbo by porting the exhaust manifold. I also got a little up top, it pulled all the way to redline where it used to drop off at 5700 rpm. The Daewoo was a slight increase with the porting, I'll take pics when I port the Aveo.
