anybody done this yet? there is a step by step on a car domain page....just curious if anyone has any other ideas for the "dummy" light in our headlamp assembly.

I simply used 2 white LED's directly connected to the parking lights, so when i turn the parkings on the LED's come on also. Looks like this:

what fitting did you use to get them to stay in the housing? you didn't happen to take pics when you did it? I notice the guy on car domain used a simple marker light housing...

There is a little rubber fitting around the led, requires you to drill a 3/8" hole if i remember corectly. I didnt take pics since this was done like 1 year and 1/2 ago

I used a twist n lock holder found in many vehicles that houses a 168/194 bulb.

It's a little box with 4 wires and 2 LED's. Its a visual theft deterrent system, you can hook it up so that the lights stay on while driving and when the car is off, they flash like an alarm system.
I didnt set it like that though, i just used two wires (power and ground) and hooked it up to the parkings so when i turn em on, the LED's also come on. I will try to see if i can find another one and post where you can get it.
