Yeah I wouldnt mess with putting it on the inside unless you wanna risk leakage. I myself am just going to do it on the outside. If your worried about scratching....its no diff. than your cars paint getting scratched and theres not a whole lot you can do about that. Aveosam, how diffinite are you on tinting yours?

i looked at it and t shouldnt be that hard to take off....hopefully....i feel could do a better job with taking them off then leaving them on, and also it just seems lazy

It is super easy to get them off. Open the hatch loosen the screws and pull STRAIGHT out. There are 2 guide tabs that are popped in there but make sure you pull straight cause I already broke one(no big deal). I would not recommend doing it with them on the car, it would be soooooo much easier off.

How about light, like wouldnt the light output be a lot less with them smoked? or would it still be ok enough to not get stopped by cops

im looking for the act, but i cant find it now.... it says something like you cant do anything, whether it be a paint or a film/cover, to tint your lights.

I think its considered illegal alot of places if it isnt "stock". But just tell the cop it is ;D Also dont make them really dark, just a subtle tint thats what Im gonna do. With that you wont have to worry about light output either.
