V-tuning is open to the idea of a group buy. Chime in if you would be interested so I can get back to them with a number and we can get a price. Please only respond if you are seriously interested.

I allready have one..... thinking about making a replica..... curious what the "group" price is.
50 pounds is a not bad price.... shipping would be as much as the part if you didn't do a group buy.... UK shipping is extreemly expensive.
By the way.... if you want one.... I wouldn't wait for me.... I've got too much on the go as it is... I don't know when or if I will be making a replacement.... depends on how easy it is.

Shipping is GBP18 per unit, hoping we can save a bit if we get them all shipped at once... don't think we're going to get that on 4 units, though... was hoping for 10 or so.

18GBP is a decent price for shipping.... over all it's not a bad deal. I have both the short shifter shaft and this linkage short shifter..... sure the shifting is short but the amount of force to move it from gear to gear is suprisingly high. We had a big snow storm so I can't drive it around to feel it on the street. If you wanted more people you should jump onto www.daewootech.com and post something in the "group buy" forum as there would probably be a few guys on there that would go in with you. ( ask Brian.... I'm sure he won't mind posting it on there )

A discount is always better, though! I have an adjustable one on my Jetta. It's got just over 100k on the odometer, so the syncros are "broken in" and it's a pain to shift in the cold with it set for shortest throw, so I know what you mean. The shift movement on the aveo is just so sloppy, though. Hoping this might give it a little more of a solid feeling.
