I found this website while doing a google image search www.escuderia97.com/public/index.php?dir=aveo2006&sec=el_vehiculoI don't know what language the site is in, italian maybe? but anyways it's fairly easy to figure out where the pics are, it's interesting to see race ready aveos well atleast more than 1 in the same place haha here's a teaser pic

I think the idea is stolen/based off the North American Toyota Echo Race Series. It's actually pretty funny to watch 20 Echos whipping around a course... surprised they don't flip over in some corners! What I'm more interested in would be what performance upgrades the cars have... Definitely lowered. I thought they might have had the lip/skirt kit installed...

Another spec racing series for the Aveo. Most likely they all have stock engines and the only thing allowed is intake, chassis bracing, roll cage, race seat, fire suppression, stock sized 15" rims with a spec tire such as the Toyo RA-1. I suspect we will have a spec series in the US for the FIT if it continues to sale as it has been and as people start to race it. If anyone is looking for a fairly inexpensive way of getting into a SPEC racing class where you drive a newer car, check out www.nasaproracing.com and their Spec Focus class.

The location is Venezuela and the langish is Spanish, the cars that are being raced are stock same HP as one out of the show room.

More like 94hp at the wheel, Sam.
Lol, just being a stickler. I think we should sue Chevrolet/GM for falsely advertising the HP being 105 on the Aveo. Merely kidding, but hey... the idea is pretty awesome, IMO.

I'll see if I can scrounge up the aveo file a classmate of mine dyno'd at the school. I swore it was 94hp and something like 97 torque. Of course, I could be wrong. Thats why computers have save-data. I'll go back and look on Wednesday when I have automechanics again.

I hope it doesn't give out the wrong numbers, I'm about to dyno mine after all the mods to see what I'm at.

If you want to compare the before and after, you should always dyno at the same place. Although you might not get the real numbers, you will get the right amount of HP you gained.

It was one that was given to us by Busch Racing. I'll check the brand name tomorrow. And I'm going to base my mods off of the other guys Aveo Hatch. I never even knew we had a Dynometer at the school until a few weeks ago! Of course, I just started my course a few weeks ago.
