Hmm looking at the engine bay, looks like the front end could swap on the 1st gen, using the fenders, bumper, hood, lights, grill (the entire front end in other words). Not sure about it but it looks pretty close.

you know what, I lied.. I have already modded the car now that I think of it.. within an hour of the purchase I added Sirius sattelite radio
since I have a base LS with an auto tranny as the only option it came with an am/fm radio, not even a cd player ;D so I corrected that. Atleast now I can listen to some decent music

Not sure about it but it looks pretty close. I got a close look at a 07 Wave sedan the other day and compared the fitment to the best of my ability since my car was a few spaces over and from the looks of it the front ened would line up rather decently with the rest of the body should it bolt up. The only problem area would be the crease(or what ever it's called) in the bodyline that runs along the bottom of the windows, it looked to be a bit wider.

cutomize, customize, customize....be original... Oh I will, I will definately take my time with it though.. the majority of my mod money goes into my juiced Spec V ;D my latest mods on that were some 13 lb slipstreams and some Nismo cams. "most" of my mods on that car are suspension though. I only did the cams, BSR, and nitrous for the occasional drag race.. I prefer autocross and windy downhill roads. suspension wise I have Tein SS's, Nis... bah, just goto www.serprise.com and click Cory if ya care to even see my mods, I don't have many pics up though. I started making that webpage then I got sidetracked with other projects for some local businesses then I never went back to finishing it/getting the forum up. The Aveo is more for driving for daily use so I don't want to mod it too much, I mean I love my Spec but it sucks for road trips/daily driving, it just isn't thrown together for comfort ;D the Aveo is a surprisingly decent ride for the price, I'm glad I got it, cheap and has a warranty that I don't wanna void like I did on my other car. I "will" get some 17"s for the Aveo(probably wont be for a good 3-4 months though, maybe longer), I "will" tint the windows(probably within the next few weeks), I "may" lower it an inch-inch and a half if it sits too tall and still has a lot of wheel gap after putting the 17"s on. I will do an intake as soon as one is available to improve mpg.. it'll pay for itself in the long run.other than that I'm not going to do much more. I am even hesitant to do 17"s cause the low pro tires will make it ride kinda stiff still, i might only do 16"s. I just wish there was somebody local I knew with 17"s on theirs so I could feel how good/bad the ride is (wow sorry for the novel.. got carried away)

well I'm going ahead and getting the windows tinted tonight, my appointment is in an hour from now, it will be dark out when it's finished, so I'll try to get a pic up tomorrow unless he lets me sneak a pic in when they finish while it's still in the lighted garage
