This be my baby 2006 Aveo LS Hatchback This is my old transmission, I bought the stupid car new and i burned out once and a piece of the bell housing broke, cheap crap it didnt even last 2500 miles, stupid korean parts. The dealer wouldnt fix it of course but i still tried by saying i dont know how it happened so they blamed it on a power wire i use for my amplifer for my speaker, they said supposedly somebody jacked up the car on the piece that broke off, which is big time bs because you dont have to jack up a car to put in an amp wire, so now i have no warranty on my transmission and ive only had the car for 3 months... this is the piece that broke off, i had to go get a used transmission with 20000 miles on it from a totaled aveo, lol i was lucky to even find it manual. the totaled aveo had a boulder fall on it which i think is pretty dang funny. this is my car now, and i have a new exauhst, its sounds really nice, not farty this is a bit closer

yeah youre just like the dealer, i dropped the clutch at like 5k rpm, and there hasnt been a reason to jack up the car, thats stupid, the car didnt have 2500 miles on it yet, it didnt need an oil change and theres no need to jack up the car for an amplifier power wire

Bro! They tried to say that when my car bottomed out at the gas station. I ripped the transmission fluid line that went into the radiator. They were trying to blaim it on me putting my new exhaust in there after jacking it up. And I told them they were full of shpit(drop the 'p'). So they had to fix it because I spent two hours arguing with them about it. I finally got my lawyer on the phone and he gave them some legal jargon that probably scared these red-neck dealers. But yeah man. I feel for ya. Nice Exhaust.

i thought warranties only covered stuff that happen under normal driving conditions?? dont think 5k rpm clutch drop counts as normal

yeah i know they only cover normal conditions, it was still worth a try, but anyways transmissions dont break when you drop the clutch that high in rpm range, ive had other cors that dont break, and this car was new so i know its pretty cheap parts

5k clutch drop is nothing... Ive lost count on how many times ive dropped mine at redline lol... though i have really cooled off from doing stupid things like that, i decided to stop doind it before something breaks, im sure i alrerady did some damage to it but i dont have any problems as of yet, time will tell

its a piece of the bell housing that broke off, theres not even enough room to jack it up on, but the stupid dealer was being a Squid, and i took it up with my insurance and they said that there is no way that they can prove the car was jacked up on that mount and that they are bullorange juiceting, i would have taken it up with the better buisiness bureau but that would take too much money and orange juice so i just had it fixed in some other place
