i thought there wa s a cast made for it already? Yes.... there is a cast turbo manifold specificly made for this engine (well it's for the X16XE... cousin of Aveo engine) The manifold is around $270 but it's comes from a land far far away.... so shipping is a pile.... and it takes about a month and a half to get here. If I were to order a single manifold.... it would be well over $500 by the time everything is said and done. I did post asking if anyone was interested (sept 14th)..... but nobody showed interest in the post.... so I didn't bring in any extra manifolds besides the ones I purchased ( I bought $2800 worth of clutches, pressure plates, forged pistons, manifolds, race piston pins... and a few other items for my 2.0L engines.... I have six right now ) I was saying that I could make a weld el based manifold for $450 shipped.... but if you can weld your own stuff it can be made for way less... around $200 complete. I can get the weld els for a reasonable price if someone wants to buy the individual parts.... and I also know a fellow from Daewootech that has a waterjet cutter.... he just made me three sets of 2.0L flanges. If your interested in getting flanges for the 1.6L I'm sure he would do them for you guys.... he'd just need a sample gasket or sample manifold to get the pattern. He was selling the 1/2" thick stainless flanges for $120 shipped anywhere in the USA Here is the link to his offer...... www.daewootech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7391I purchased mild steel flanges because I want to fool around and make a few weld el based manifolds. I have a big T3/T4 divided housing turbo I want to use on one project... so I want to make a special manifold to fit that turbo.

Hey guy after a lot of effort I received my turbo manifold from Maximum Turbo but I have to tell you after looking at all of the parts and the fact that I have not been able to get any install instructions from theses guys the is not a custom kit. This is nothing more than a bunch of universal parts thrown together to make up what Maximum Turbo is calling a kit. One thing that I noticed is that there is nowhere for the discharge tube to go, I will need to fabricate a return for this. The other thing is the down pipe is a three inch pipe it might look good but it leaves you very little ground clearance I will also need to fabricate a new one to follow the same rout as the stock exhaust system. I will follow-up with pictures as I progress in this project and we will see how things go.

Maximum Turbo just left me negative feedback on E-Bay because they could not deliver what they where advertising. I waited for about a month on this kit and it is no kit just a buck of Chinese crap parts, this guys should be barded for E-Bay.
