Sounds like Maximum boost is a scam. took another kit and just added a manifold to fit the aveo. wonder if they even tested it. My guess. NO!

Yea I am in the process of trying to get my money back if that does not work out I will fab up the parts that I need. I have been tunning cars for a long time. I have 532 hp 1993 TransAm that runs on pump gas so I was trying to hyp up my Aveo.
Thank

Most kits are genaric and fit multiple vehicles.... it could have been an honest mistake.
Perhaps they were getting cast manifolds from the same supplier I do.... sometimes things don't go as planned... I've been patiently waiting since June for my parts to show up..... stupid bank transfer got screwed up (that's what you get dealing with a very foreign country )
I just can't see this being a scam..... having it advertized on their website makes them more credible.... if it was some "one time only" EBAY auction.... then yes.... I could see it being a scam.
Perhaps the company is not sending you the new manifold because they are worried you won't send the other one back to them..... I know I would if I were in their shoes.

someone give me the info on where to get the turbo head cheap and ill peice one together in a matter of 3 months and have it all together. My aveo is no longer a daily driver, so I can work on it 24/7/365 and not worry about having to drive it.

I offered to bring in a 1.6L turbo manifold for anyone interested but nobody stepped up to the plate. Ok.... lets see.... I could get the flange cut for around $90 and the weld els.... hmmm.... probably about $100.... flange... $10... divider... probably 2 hours.... fabrication probably 4 hours. So.... say $200 + 6 hours labor.... hmmm...say $30 an hour.....so about $380 Definitly wouldn't be cheap to put together a custom turbo manifold..... probably end up being $450 shipped.

If I wasn't so worried about the warranty i would turbo it in the spring. Although the compression on the Aveo is kinda high for a turbo.

d16 civics have 10:1 compression (aveo is 9.5:1) and they are running 10psi on stock internals and pump gas, so a turbo on the aveo is fine with concern for the compression

so is there a head for this thing or what? dude open your eyes and read....both precisionboost and myself have given you the options, one you can get one from the UK and two you can get the d16 turbo headers to work.
