had 15 miles when I bought it.. it had 45 when I started it this morning and the rpm's bounced up and down where it'd rev high(about 1,500) then almost die and it repeated that for 5-6 seconds then stopped.. Think it is just something to do with it being new and it should go away, or not happen again? I'm hoping it doesn't do it in the morning tomorrow.. we'll see though

sounds like a sensor might be a muck..
thank-you warranty eh?
if it doesn't do it again, then I wouldn't worry about it.. (i assume no check engine light?) if it does it again, then something is definately wrong, and you should get the dealer to fix it..

no, no service engine light.. just did that for a few seconds and all was well.. but yah, gotta love warranties. My Spec V lost it's 6th gear at an autocross event, I didn't use 6th gear that day but something I did caused it to break still and the service guys there (Nissan dealership) just laughed and fixed it for free. When they pulled the tranny they seen the JWT clutch and flywheel which I did myself and they still covered the tranny. I just hope the Chevy dealership isn't shady and once i put an intake and cruise control on it they'll try to gimme crap about it. I've heard horror stories about dodge dealerships. How is Chevy about that?? this is my first Chevy

omgawd.. that bad?? don't they realize that may be why they are starting to lose $?? if they pull crap like that on me this first chevy I bought will also be my last I'm guessing they aren't all bad.. they probably just had an idiot manager that day. Has Chevy been known to refuse warranty just cause of an intake?? something that is actually "good" for the car?? that is REALLY messed up if they are anal like that

every dealer is different on how strict they are....every once in a while my aveo does the same thing...it probably still does it or does it more than i notice but when i have people who know cars in they mention it...ive got 30,000+ miles and theres been no probelm with it....my throttle body needs to be cleaned out probably...and it seem that the pcv pulls to much oil residue into the intake no matter if you have after market or not....because when i was taking chevyaveo413's intake off i noticed there was some oil in the intake pipe but it was caught in the acordian type pipe area but i image over time it will make its way into the intake a clog it up a bit

No dealership can legally deny your warranty unless they can prove the modifications that have been made to the car actually caused the failure in question. That is a federal law! They cannot tell you they won't fix your transmisson because you changed the stereo.

they said he jacked up his car when he put the stereo in and when he jacked it up, he jacked it up by the transmission which could cause it to break.....

i can see removing stuff off of it because they might now kno how to get around but if that person cant figure out how to work around an intake and headers i dont think i want them working on my car

My Barina was purchased new in 2009 (3 door auto 1.6). It has done 34,500 km (about 21,562 km). My Holden dealer, at the 4 year mark in 2012, as per the service book only changed the timing belt and none of the other ancillary items such as water pump, tensioner pulley, etc. I've read on the net in many places that all items in the "timing belt kit" should be replaced at the same time. The service department here in Australia probably only have instruction to check the condition of the water pump etc while the timing belt is changed. Should I be concerned with the kilometres I drive or don't worry and just have it done at the 8 year mark when the timing belt is next due for replacement? I'm really worried about this.
