Is the car which would get the 2.0 an Auto or a Manual? To switch the engine from an auto to a maunaul, you unbolt the torque converter plate and bolt on the flywheel and clutch assembly. Not too difficult, hopefully the flywheel will bolt to the 2.0 the same as it does to the 1.6. For the ECU, you'll need to get a wiring pinout of each ECU, then you can see what plugs in, if any and rewire the rest. Here is an example of the pinout for a 93 Impreza which I used to hook up my E-Manage. www.uniquemotorsports.com/subachad/images/1993ecu.jpgReading through this thread and the other with the engine pics, it looks like the engine mounts might be the same, the size looks similar and reusing the stock tranny will make for a much more straight forward swap. Good luck getting the ecu pages from the factory manual.

Guys on daewoootech did a swap, the 1.6 wiring loom will work on the 2.0, you just have a extra connection (VGIS Solinoid). and change the ecm, same hook ups

would be nice if the site wasnt down Aint that the truth, my co-administrator is having problems paying the company that hosts the site..... it's not a issue of no money.... it's an issue of the company having their PAYPAL address suddenly unavailable.... so we can't pay them because they don't have any other quick method for paying them. I thought last time would be the "last time" but obviously there are problems yet again..... this didn't happen when I hosted the site in the USA. Should be back up again..... hopefully for good
