The purpose of pimp my ride is to make show cars not performance cars, that is what shows like monster garage, horsepower tv, import tuner,etc.... are for.

Yeah, you call those show cars? They do the most niggardly work on that show. Have you ever seen their idea of fixing body rot, well I will save you from having to watch it. They screw chicken wire to the sheet metal and put a bunch of putty over it. They do the crappiest work ever so you can't call them show cars. They have some terrible ideas too, ex. 9 lcd screens in the floor of that suburban. I watch that show because I love picking apart how terrible it is. They are by no means show cars, and I bet most look like orange juice after about a month because the 100 lbs of body filler they put in cracks. The convertible tops I have seen them do are terrible also, if my dad ever got a convertible top like that sh*t on one of his vettes he would kill the guy who made it. So honestly don't reference that show because if you have to, you know nothing about cars and you deserve the comments that people make about your terrible ideas. Its about time I chimed in on this thread because I have been looking at it and just shaking my head for so long now.

I remember on an episode of PImp My Ride they put a water fall in I think it was Civic. But it divided the rear seat.

it was a fish tank, and that was such a bad idea. I feel bad because the fish probably died the next day, the inside of a car gets way too hot for something like a fish.

The purpose of that show is to entertain, and show different alternatives to doing some things inside and out on a vehicle, now I have not personally seen the episode to which you are referring and it may be true that they have poor workmanship but be it what it may that does not show or relate in any way what so ever to the knowledge that I have about cars. Granted many assumed that when the idea was discussed they instantly thought about the pimp my ride show but honestly it had no bearing on my decision to tackle on the project, It just happens to go well with my theme in the car. You say that they know nothing about cars but, you have not demonstrated that you know anything either by bashing them, the comments, and ideas made thus far, so before you decide to criticize and analyze have a constructive comment not opinionated bulls/*-. And the next time you feel like throwing a low blow, i think you should reconsider because you are biting off more then you can chew partna.

If this is not an attack what is it?
not true if you re-read the entire post...
I am unsure what you mean by the word "tasteful" whose taste am I trying to appease anyway, the majority or just mine? I do not watch the show enough to make any conjecture on there knowledge base nor do i know any of the individuals to say such. The purpose of the post was to say that knowledge is relative and to say that you know more then someone else without having been iin a situation to compare your knowledge is just pure conjecture and only worth the letters it is typed with.
If you say you know more, prove it, that is all that I am saying.

what i mean by tasteful was others people taste. I said that is cool that you are doing it but other people just dont think it is tasteful. I don't see how you could screw up posts this easily. I am tired of trying to defend myself for other peoples lack of the ability to understand something.

It is nothing like that, I just wanted to know what you meant by tasteful, and honestly I appreciate your comments sometimes as with everyone we are not always direct and leave ourselves open to interpretation.

I second that...basically someone just trying to cause trouble and alot of wierd stuff went down when he was on here, like someone tryin to impersonate Tom from 360dynamic, but its funny how as soon as he got banned from the site, the impersonation stopped. it was also funny that the impersonating person was always agreeing with delta even if everyone else on the forum knew he was wrong....just shady stuff that I am glad is over with
