I wanted to get window tints but I don't know what's out there, what's worth getting, how expensive they are, the size of the roll I'd need etc.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated

You average tint will come in four shades, light, medium, dark, and limo. Here is what i did, dark on the rear window and rear doors, had medium install on driver and passenger doors. In cali its illegal to have anything but factory tint on your driver and passenge windows, but as long as the tint is light enough that they can view the two front occupants they will usually leave you alone. The last thing i want is trouble with po po. Shop around and find a tint shop to install it for you.

klingon20,
Thanks for your reply, do you know of any good brands? I'd really hate to get some and have it turn purple and bubble on me. I did a quick search and found some but it was around $400 a roll! Was I looking at the right stuff or what? I believe the stuff I was looking at was called Titanium film or something like that. I mean I didn't think window tints should be that expensive. I want quality but I also am looking for a good price.

Georgia tint law was thrown out in June by the Georgia supreme court for being discriminating against residents of Georgia. Woot! Means I can keep my 20% with no problems yippie!

Who cares if it's illegal as long as it looks great, I've had my tint ripped off by the cops and been ticketed twice after that. I will always have tinted windows on all my vehicles for so many positive reasons that totally out weigh the bad.

I got 20% sides and 5% sun strip, rear, and rear side doors. Im thinking of doing another layer on top of that 20% all the way around. Its Illegal here in PA for any tint on front windows but I'll take the risk.

I had limo tint on the side windows of my '80 camaro back in the day. Looked badass. And completely illegal. Couldnt see worth a f*ck out of them at nite. Had to roll down the window to see at unlit intersections. Won't do that again!
