Hi guys,
does anyone knows where can I buy the fog lights for a 2004 hatchback aveo online? I can't find them anywhere.
I know that my car has the cabling for the fog lights, there's a power cable that runs all the way to the front bumper.
How's the button to turn on the fog lights on aveos that come with the lights from the factory? Are they turned automatically with the headlights, or is there any other button somewhere??
Thanks!!!

I do not know where you can get them, but the button you are looking for is a switch closer to the steering wheel on the arm for your turn signals.

escoz, I coudn't find a set online either so I have to get mine from a Holden Dealership (Australia) The best quote I have so far is $100 each. What do they cost from a dealer over there

1. You can only get them from a dealer. about $200 for both. 2. the switch would be the left blank (round black spot) on your center piece above your radio.

so the wiring is already there for them?
eg, if i got the lights and the switch, it should all plug straight in?

brian, is that what that black switch is for? I always wondered. Does anyone know whether there are wires already in place for KALOS?

The wiring is not in the car if you didn't get fog lights on the 04

Hi guys, thanks for all the answers! I was travelling, and couldn't access the forum! It's good to finally figure out what those black things on the panel are for ! thanks a lot!! Oh, and in regard to the wiring: I bought my aveo used, and I'm not sure if it ever had fog lights. But the wiring for teh actual lamps on the bumper is there. I'll check on the panel to see where they end!

I just replaced the stock headlight bulbs with the Sylvania Silverstar 9003 ST/2. WOW, what a difference. Now I'd like to do the fog lamps, but can't figure how to get it out of the housing. More like don't want to break anything trying to do it before knowing the correct way.
I have an '06 5 Door, has anyone has replaced the stock fog lamp bulb yet and how do you do it? It apprears af if you twist the bulb out of the lamp housing, but I am not 100%.
Thanks in advance

yep you twist it....
it may be hard if you never taken them out before, thats how it was with mine, so just twist it until it turns then just pull it out.

2. the switch would be the left blank (round black spot) on your center piece above your radio. This is probably a year-to-year thing. On my 06, the fogs are controlled, as ChevyRyan said, by an inner turn ring on the turn signal stalk. If you didn't get fogs stock, chances are you don't have the correct turn signal stalk to control it, in which case you have to wire your own switch in place, or get an upgraded turn signal stalk.
