daking I dont think they would really show up very well black on black. But the inner reflector is chrome so that would seperate the colors.....hmmmm. Ron, I dont notice any change in my beam pattern(low/high).

I'll have to take a picture some night...the light shines on a flat surface with a weird pattern...

i also forgot, i have a black bug deflector as well, so really dont think its worth it, I have the headlights painted black too (chrome is only around the bulb reflector), just thought it would make the headlights kinda disappear more, as it looks pretty nice now I dont wanna over do it

Yeah, I have it on both my Swift and Elantra, and see it on my bro's Prius. I *think* is a reflector design to sort of block out stray light glare pointing up to oncoming traffic. The diagonal slices all go (looking from inside the car) from top down, right to left i.e. / so the light going out the top left side is blocked.

Yes, that's it Swift...my brothers Accord is the same way and he told me the dealer said the same thing...to avaoid blinding oncomming traffic. Thanks man.

Gives you a MUCH further viewing distance in the dark becuase of the angles, becuase the right side of the light isn't kept down so low for the oncomming traffic., and the right side shines further. I'm amazed how well the headlights work, and nice and intense..
