id say go with the 2.2L if you can find one...if not just get a u20sed with d20/f20 manual and bore it out a bit, get forged lower compression pistons/connecting rods, U/D crank pulley, lose the a/c, get an upgraded 6puck clutch, lightened flywheel, a cam setup that would work good with a turbo setup, and run a t28R or t3/4 turbo setup....just turn up the boost to desired liking and fly baby fly.....the latter of which is what I want if I ever get this shucks second aveo to work on....i guess if i keep bugging him i can get my way lol i mean its not like im going to spend money and by one, I plan to do a junk yard swap and Im guess for an aveo to be in the junkyard already theres going to be some major collision damage (preferably front end with engine/radiator damage) PM if you ever do get a U20sed engine and ill setup u up with someone who can get parts

Too bad you two are on the East side... muffinman has hid wrecked Aveo that would be PERFECT for a new swap build... If only someone would buy it in time.

yea i know thats what I am trying to find in a junk yard is an aveo like that with front end damage but i want i manual....muffinman had an auto

ive got 3 2.2 eco engines at work ,all damaged . was gonna build one for my aveo but looks like transmission wont work . so im waiting for warrenty to expire then ill fix on up .
