So how about a Flowmaster? Lets stick with the "domestics". Theres Flowmaster, Borla, and Magnaflow. Now, when I took off the rear wheel to the Aveo, I saw the muffler was like any other muffler, and about as big as the stock one on my pickup. Is the backpressure the problem with the brand name mufflers?
When I got the glasspack put on my 95 Silverado, not only did the thing roar when you got in it, but it had more punch. I'm thinking of switching it out for a glasspack, but I dont know if I will lose the back pressure with that.

just came back from the muffler joint. Put on an x-force twin loop. Might be a little too quiet for most but I like it. Nice low growl but doens't attract too much attention from the boys in blue! Also fits snuggly cos it so small. All up cost me $350 Australian Dollars. Will be posting before and after sound clips ASAP
