Thanks guys! I am running on the H&R kit made for the 04+ Kalos. I have no rubbing and man it rides nice. I honestly hope to install Air Ride this winter again because I loved it on my last ride and it makes driving a hell of a lot let stressful.

Here are somemore from today with my design on the hood done. I love Chameleon carbon fiber. Also the engine pieces are done in red pearl. You can't really see the chameleon on the carbon fiber part of the hood in the pics, but it looks great in person. I will post more pics with the side skirts on and the car is all polished. Again thanks for looking and all the kind words! wow looks awesome...the red really stands out....Id like to thank you and all the others on this forum for doing such a good job and putting all this hardwork into trying to get the aveo noticed

would love it if it wasn't for the red caps/covers... and that shucks razzi kit. Looking past that, it's a great looking car. I just can't stand that kit edit: it's obvious that you're going for a show car. I'm wondering why you didn't shave the engine bay while you had the engine out?

I am not sure what you mean by "shave the engine bay", but I did things to the extent I did them because I did not want to take on more than I could handle and not be able to show the car this summer/show season here in New England. I did however grind down some uneven spots in the bay like some of the welds and overlap high spots. You can only really appreciate what I am saying in person, but a lot of time went into the engine bay.

"Shaving the bay" is essentially filling in any holes, smoothing the seams, and relocating the fluid reservoirs and sometimes the brake master cylinder to inconspicuous locations. Makes the bay look much much cleaner.

Yeah that is nice, thanks for postings a pic. I did not go that crazy with my engine bay, but I did work on it quite a bit to smooth it out and make it cleaner

Yeah, overall your car is great (absolutely love the color).
Bay shaving involves a whole mess of work, especially on a car that hasn't been "explored" yet.

I know exactly what you mean when you say "explored yet" with the engine bay. Their is a fine line between custom and what the hell did I get myself into with relocating the engine fluid reservoirs and the brake master cylinder to an inconspicuous location and I did not have time to answer that question this year and meet my deadline. Thanks again for the compliment. I am glad you like the color! A lot of time went into choosing it.

How low from the ground the front lip is? this is awesome work, i have thought of shaving the razzi kit into the bumpers, you did it 1st and it changed my idea about that kit, it looks awesome
